There are many different areas of the hospital in which volunteers are very welcome, ranging from gardening, driving, clerical, admin including reception duties, to assisting the staff on the wards with basic ward duties and patient feeding.
Volunteers should be responsible, polite, friendly and have an interest in helping people - offering their time and personal service for no financial gain but to help others, raise their self-confidence or to gain experience before entering a career in healthcare.
We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds and no previous experience is required.
