Care Navigation Team

Our Care Navigation Team works with people to prevent them from being admitted to hospital when they don't need to be.

Children's Community Nursing

Our community nursing team provides support to children and young people with complex, chronic or acute healthcare needs.

Community Paediatrics Service

Our Community Paediatrics team are specialist children's doctors who work with children with medical conditions that may impact on their development and learning and their families.

Crisis Line

The Crisis Line is a 24-hour telephone service for residents of Bexley, Bromley and Greenwich who are experiencing a mental health crisis or supporting someone experiencing a crisis.

Eye Clinic (children)

Our eye clinic provides a specialist eye testing service for children and young people.

Hospital Watch

Hospital Watch is a joint venture between Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, Bexley Borough Neighbourhood Watch (BBNWA) and Longlands (Metropolitan Police) Bexleyheath Local Police Team (LBLPT) and is based in Queen Mary's Hospital Sidcup.

Learning Disability Team (Bexley)

The Bexley Learning Disability team (CLDT) provides specialist community health services to people over the age of 18 with learning disabilities who are registered with a GP in Bexley.

Learning Disability Team (Bromley)

The Bromley Learning Disability team provides specialist community health services to people over the age of 18 with learning disabilities who are registered with a GP in Bromley.

Meadow View (Intermediate Care)

Meadow View (formerly Step Up, Step Down) is a ward-based service.

Musculoskeletal Care (Bexley)

The Bexley Musculoskeletal (MSK) service consists of pain management, orthopaedics, rheumatology and therapy services and provides integrated care for musculoskeletal conditions for patients in Bexley Borough.

Neuro rehabilitation services inpatient and community

The Bexley Neuro Rehabilitation team help people with neurological impairments including Parkinson's Disease and Multiple Sclerosis to lead a more independent life in the community.

Occupational Therapy (children)

The Children's Occupational Therapy team works with children and young people and their families, who experience difficulties with everyday activities, such as dressing and using cutlery to eat.

Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS)

We have a dedicated PALS service to help people using all of the services at the hospital.

Pharmacy

Oxleas run the Pharmacy at Queen Mary's Hospital which covers all of the services on the site and sells some over the counter drugs to patients, visitors and staff.

Physiotherapy (children)

Our Children's Physiotherapy Service works with children and young people and their families, to help them to move to the best of their abilities, irrespective of their physical condition.

Speech and Language Therapy (children)

Our Children's Speech and Language Therapy Services works with children and young people and their families, who have speech, language and communication needs.

Voluntary Services Department

The Voluntary Services department at Queen Mary’s Hospital offers volunteering opportunities from 16+ ( 18+ for all clinical roles). There is no upper age limit.
