Guy’s and St Thomas’ aims to provide world-class care for patients to improve the health of our local community that we serve and of the wider populations that we serve.
We provide hospital services at Guy’s and St Thomas’, community services in Lambeth and Southwark, and a range of services in a wider area including at QMH.
Guy’s and St Thomas’ runs a number of services at QMH including a satellite kidney dialysis unit, chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer (usually in less complex cases), and the Douglas Macmillan cancer information centre.
There are plans to increase the chemotherapy treatment that we provide at QMH over time and to develop a brand new radiotherapy service on the QMH site so that local people do not have to travel further afield for this treatment.
