V’Ox, the Oxleas Choir, led the singing next to the Christmas tree in the foyer at Queen Mary’s Hospital, Sidcup on Tuesday afternoon.
Guests of honour included the Mayor and Mayoress of Bexley, Councillors Brian and Christine Bishop, who joined in with the singing too.
Also in fine voice were Oxleas’ Chief Executive, Matthew Trainer, and our Chair, Andy Trotter.
Patients visiting the hospital also enjoyed a free mince pie and helped raise funds for Meadow View, our intermediate care ward.
Jacqui Pointon, our CAMHS consultant nurse, who leads the newly-formed choir, said: “We are all delighted to be here to spread some festive cheer through song and would like to thank the Mayor and Mayoress for their support.”
